Doner Designs - Warming Hearts with Cool Guitars
Several guitar parts suppliers donate or discount their wares toward our projects, but we still typically spend $500 to $1,000 in cash for required parts that we don't have a sponsoring vendor for.

If you would like to help sponsor our next project with a cash donation, please go to our facebook page and click the orange "Give" button.

Or, go directly to our FundRazr page and click on "Contribute at: .

Credit and debit cards or paypal accepted.  To use a credit or debit card, follow the instructions to "use paypal as a guest".  Thank you!!

Doner Designs builds theme guitars to inspire kids who are fighting serious illness and to help raise funds to fight childhood illness such as cancer, cystic fibrosis and juvenile diabetes.

Our guitars are donated to fundraiser auctions of major national charities like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Doner Designs donates 100% of the labor required to design and build our elaborate guitars.  We also make considerable financial donations, but need help from others to fully cover the cost of materials.

Past theme projects include an Army guitar, an Air Force bass guitar a NASA guitar and, most recently, a Navy Aircraft Carrier theme bass guitar.

For 2015/2016 we plan to do a USMC theme telecaster guitar after which we will have covered all branches of the military and then we will move on to other types of themes.

Our fundraising goal for the next project is $1,500.  If fundraising exceeds the actual cost, any excess will be carried forward to our next project.

Thank you for joining in the fight for life!

Steve Doner, Founder

Here is how our fundraising goal/estimate breaks down.
Neck  $250
Body  $250
Pickups & electronics $250
Bridge & other hardware $250
Custom pickguard with graphics $100
Paint & and other materials $200
Amplifier & accessories $200

Typically a portion of the total cost is covered by donations of parts from manufacturers and dealers, but we still end up covering about half the cost of each guitar with cash donations from friends, family and ourselves.
